Status message:
I plan to mail mooched books at least once a week.

Bio:
A lover of wisdom. (I majored in Philosophy.) A lifelong reader. (So much to read, so little time.) A retired English teacher/non-profit program assistant. A mother, now grandmother.

My "pulp" reading has been science fiction, but now includes mysteries. (I prefer women authors.) For the last two decades I've been reading religion and spirituality books. (I went from agnostic through Pentecostal to Presbyterian to would-be mystic/Buddhist and back to agnostic.) In addition, I'm now reading science topics (neurology, physics, evolutionary development) and about biological and economic sustainability. (Can we do anything but blow or burn ourselves up?) And sometimes I check to see if there's anything that's working in education.

What I'm looking to mooch are books I can't check out from my library and those I'd like to read more than once.
