Status message:
A beautiful Golden Retriever, Ben-Oni, lives with me. Although he has never smelled secondhand smoke, I cannot guarantee that about all of my books, for many of them have come from book sales and the like.

At times I package my books reusing cereal or cracker boxes. If anyone in your household has a severe allergy, please tell me not to do this.

Bio:
I love OLD hardback books that are still in decent condition. I do not collect them for any monetary value they may have, but I just prefer reading vintage copies of the literature I love....and I think they are beautiful. I specifically would love to find early printings of books by Jessie Fothergill, Jean Webster, Jane Austen, Lucy Maud Montgomery, Gene Stratton-Porter, Elizabeth Gaskell, P. G. Wodehouse, George Eliot, Emma Orczy, J. M. Barrie, Elizabeth von Arnim, Eleanor Porter, and Fanny Burney.
