LConway (USA: CA) (2009/07/27): I would like to caution other potential readers that this is not a well written book. Tom Friedman could really have used a good editor. He is so into examples of his theories that he gets mired in the details, and his theories get lost! And he contracticts himself; he repeatedly states that we should not be afraid of a flattening world, yet in the final chapter, he discusses sending his daughter off to college and that he is afraid for her, because of a flattening world! I'm not sure it was even worth wading through the 660 pages. Laverne
